Everyone worships something
For some it's fashion and fame, for others cars, music, shopping. We all have passions that consume our time, our energy, our money. But rising up from deep underground is a generation of young worshippers desperate to give themselves to a greater cause. They worship Jesus.
This rising generation could spend their whole lives singing songs of love and adoration to Jesus. They hunger for a glimpse of His incredible majesty, and to experience His tender presence. But as they draw close to God they begin to see through His eyes, and then they know they must go. God sends them to a world of loneliness, injustice and poverty, desperate to bring change.
So that's what Imagine 08 is about:
Encountering God in reverence and awe, and then going out to take our place in His worldwide revolution of life, hope and peace.
